Wedding photography
for people who don’t like
having their picture taken

(but still want really great photos)

I don’t do wedding photography, I take photos of weddings.

I don’t impose myself on the day or bring an agenda.
I don’t tell people what to do or dictate how the day should run.

I am there to capture the moments.

Not the ‘stand-by-the-window-and-do-your-cufflinks’ moments, or the ‘fake-laugh-to-look-like-you’re-having-the-best day-of-your-life’ moments.

I mean the real moments.

I’m there for the unscripted, the unguarded, the imperfect. I’m there to capture your day just as it was, so when you look at your photos you are transported in time, back to your wedding day, back into those moments.

You know, the real ones.

All of my wedding images are photographed on real analogue film, hand-processed with love (and chemicals) and carefully scanned by me at my home studio. The timeless quality of film makes it the perfect medium for wedding photos that will age with grace.

Wedding photos
captured on film

Classically composed

portraits mixed with

documentary candids.

My approach is to capture your wedding as naturally as possible. I aim to make everyone feel comfortable having their picture taken, while being unobtrusive and discreet. I take a leaf from the photojournalists of the past, capturing wide scenes that truly encompass a moment and look for little stories playing out within scenes.

My portraits are simple and classic and are very much quality over quantity. I don’t want to drag my couples away from their guests to spend hours taking photos, rather I take a small number well considered portraits then get you back to your celebration.

I’m Nathan (he/him).
I am a quiet observer, patiently collecting moments on film.
